UNDERFLOOR
HEATING
We supply and install Underfloor heating systems.
All components.

All supplied and installed with a 10 year warranty
Low construction height:
Compared to conventionally heated screeds according to DIN 18 560-2, the Schlüter®-BEKOTEC system saves 37 mm in construction height.
Material savings:
Only 57 kg/m2 ≙ 28.5 l/m2 of screed are required with a screed cover of 8 mm. This advantage is reflected in the static calculation.

Joint free screed:
The regular patterns of the Schlüter®- BEKOTEC studded panel evenly reduce tensions in the screed, which allows for constructing the screed without movement joints.
Short construction time:
As soon as the screed produced with the Schlüter®-BEKOTEC system is able to support weight, coverings of ceramic tile, natural stone or artificial stone can be directly installed on top of the Schlüter®- DITRA 25 membrane.
Fast-reacting heated floor assembly:
Compared to conventionally heated screeds, cover assemblies installed with a Schlüter®-BEKOTEC-THERM ceramic thermal comfort floor react much faster to temperature changes, since the volume to be heated or cooled is much lower.

Schlüter®-BEKOTEC-EN 12 FK
Schlüter®-BEKOTEC-EN 12 FK is a reliable covering assembly system for crack-free and functionally safe floating screeds and heated screeds with coverings made of ceramic tiles, natural stone, and other materials.

Schlüter®-BEKOTEC-EN 18 FTS
Compared to conventionally heated screeds, cover assemblies installed with a Schlüter®-BEKOTEC-THERM ceramic thermal comfort floor react much faster to temperature changes. Consequently, the heated floor system is particularly suitable for operation at low temperatures.

Schlüter®-BEKOTEC-EN 23 F
Schlüter®-BEKOTEC-F is a safe and especially thin cover assembly system for damage free and functionally safe floating screeds and heated screeds with ceramic tile or natural stone coverings. The Schlüter®-BEKOTEC screed is also suitable for other covering materials.

Schlüter®-BEKOTEC-44mm
We supply and fit Schluter Bokotec heating systems. Insulation panels, pipes, manifold, pump,
thermostats and screed all with a 10-year warranty
Schlüter®-BEKOTEC is a modular screed system for crack-free and functionally safe floating screeds and heated screeds with coverings made
of ceramic tiles, natural stone or
other materials.

44mm
The system is based on the studded polystyrene screed panel, Schlüter®- BEKOTEC-EN, which is directly installed on top of load-bearing substrates or conventional heat insulation and/or sound insulation panels. The geometry of the Schlüter®-BEKOTEC-EN studded panel results in a minimum screed thickness of 32 mm between the studs and 8 mm above the studs. The studs form a grid pattern with a distance of 75 mm between them to accept the 16 mm diameter heating pipes if a heated screed is to be installed. The floor heating system is easily adjustable and ideally suited for use with low temperatures, since the screed volume to be heated or cooled is relatively small (approx. 57 kg/m2 or 28.5 l/m2 with 8 mm coverage).

Faster Heat-Up Times
Compared to conventionally heated screeds, the Bekotec system can be heated up between 20-25 minutes. Due to the fast heat-up, times the system can be turned on and off similar to a radiator system.
You now have greater control over the use of the heating.
20-25 minutes to heat up

Lower Water Flow Temperature
With a lower water flow temperature than conventional systems.
The Bekotec system only requires a 30C to achieve a floor room temperature of 28C.
This is due to the heating pipes being brought closer to the surface. Resulting in a faster delivery of the heat with less heat loss.

FAQ
contact

Q: What is the water floor temperature of the BEKOTEC system?
A: 30C to achieve a floor temperature of 28C
Q: What heat sources can be used to heat the BEKOTEC system?
A: A conventional boiler, Heat pump, Biomass and Solar panels can be used.
Q: How long does it take for the BEKOTEC system heat up?
A: 30-40 minutes.
Q: Can the Bekotec System be laid on timber floors?
A: Yes, the BEKOTEC system can be laid on both timber and concrete bases. The 12mm and 18mm would be best suited for timber floors due to the reduction in the thickness and weight of the screed.
Q: Would a heat pump efficiency be improved using the BEKOTEC system?
A: Absolutely, With a lower flow temperature and a higher return temperature back to the heat pump the BEKOTEC has less demand for energy when compared to conventional systems.
Q: How long does it take for the BEKOTEC screed to dry?
A: Traditional liquid screed drys 1mm a day and up to 60 days before fully drying.
With the BEKOTEC system Ceramic, porcelain and stone flooring can be fitted as soon as the next day.
Q: Can the BEKOTEC system be fitted in an existing building?
A: Yes, Due to the innovation in design, the system is lower in construction build-up compared to traditional systems.
Q: Can the BEKOTEC system be used to cool a floor?
A: Yes, The system can be used for both heating and cooling areas.
